stocks%2B_logo.svg How to add a Holding to a portfolio

  1. Tap on the Gains & Losses tab.
  2. Enter the stock symbol for the stock to be added or search by the company name. 
  3. If there is already a holding for this stock, tap the ( i ) icon. If not, tap the +Holding button.
  4. Enter the transaction details:
    • Number of shares purchased in the transaction
    • Price per traded share
    • Trade date
    • Commission 
    • Notes

  1. From the Gains & Losses tab, tap the ( i ) on the stock you’re adding to. 
  2. Tap the +Holding button.
  3. Enter transaction details.
  4. When finished, tap Save.

  1. From the Gains & Losses tab, tap the ( i ) on the stock you’re adding to. 
  2. Tap the Edit button above the list of holdings.
  3. Tap a holding in the list to enter the Edit screen.
  4. Tap the row that contains the information to be edited.
  5. Edit the transaction details.
  6. When editing is complete, tap Save.

  • Open the Portfolio that contains the holding to be moved.
  • Tap on the Edit button above the list of holdings.
  • On the Edit screen, tap the arrow button in the row of the holding.
  • Select a destination Portfolio or tap the Create New Portfolio button.

  1. Add the stock to your Portfolio at the current price.
  2. Tap the Price Per Share field and adjust the value to the purchase price.
  3. Tap Save.

stocks%2B_logo.svg How to add a CASH record to a Portfolio

Although we have plans to add one, there is currently no method of adding CASH records. As a workaround, you can add a holding of the stock symbol USD=X.

  1. Tap the +Add Stock button and search for USD=X.
  2. Tap USD in the search results to add it to the current portfolio.
  3. Back in the portfolio, tap the +Holding button in the USD row of the list.
  4. Keep the Price Per Unit at $1 and adjust the number of units to reflect the amount of CASH in the record.

To Delete the entire holding:

  1. Tap Edit above the stocks list.
  2. Tap the red circle next to the holding to be removed.
  3. Tap Delete to finalize.

To Delete a single transaction of a Holding

  1. Tap the (i) button on the row of the holding to be deleted.
  2. Swipe left on the holding in the transaction list.

3. Enter the stock symbol for the stock to be added or search by the company name.

4. Once the stock appears in the list, tap the +Holding button.

6. Tap Save to return to the portfolio.

4. Select a destination Portfolio or tap the Create New Portfolio button.
